AN ESSENTIAL TOOL TO CONTROL QUALITY AND SAFETY

" We chose the quality because the luck had become too expensive. " (Jean Abraham) " In the running in the quality, there is no finishing line. " (David Kearns) " The quality is never an accident; it is always the result of an intelligent effort. " (John Ruskin)

Failure Modes Effects Critically Analysis

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The effect is the consequence of the failure on the people (problems of safety) and on the installation (degradation of the installation or the process). One can distinguish the local effect on the component and the total effect on the installation.
Each mode causes an effect on the function, on the higher level, the following stage or the surrounding systems. The choice of the levels of study and the objective help to delimit the effects to take into account. Certain manufacturers define the effect as "what the customer could notice by supposing that the failure intervenes"
