FMECA
AN ESSENTIAL TOOL TO CONTROL QUALITY AND SAFETY

" We chose the quality because the luck had become too expensive. " (Jean Abraham) " In the running in the quality, there is no finishing line. " (David Kearns) " The quality is never an accident; it is always the result of an intelligent effort. " (John Ruskin)

Failure Modes Effects Critically Analysis

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The persons in charge for the actions are charged to follow their implementation and the results obtained. New criticality after action will be evaluated, which will give a new hierarchisation.
It should be noted that the FMECA analysis has value only by the relevance and the effectiveness of the improvements which result from it. All the values of criticality higher than the definite threshold are the subject of a study, until they become lower than the threshold.
All the results are then gathered in tables to keep a trace of the analysis which must be integrated in the quality system of the company.
Methodology being rather abstract, is not useless to now study a particular example for better apprehending FMECA method.
