FMECA
AN ESSENTIAL TOOL TO CONTROL QUALITY AND SAFETY

" We chose the quality because the luck had become too expensive. " (Jean Abraham) " In the running in the quality, there is no finishing line. " (David Kearns) " The quality is never an accident; it is always the result of an intelligent effort. " (John Ruskin)

Failure Modes Effects Critically Analysis

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is necessary to count the object of study FMECA (needs to satisfy) and to analyze the first cause of its release. The context of the study will be then taken into account:
•     if it is a product of design, the reliability of the product or service is the principal objective. FMECA will then lead to predict the redundancies necessary, of the elimination solutions or minimization of the causes of breakdowns, to prepare solutions (plane of control and monitoring), the maintenance plan ...
•     if it is a specific request, the objective can be the reduction of chronic problems, errors, rejects...
The limits of the system studied will then be established better. One will be able thus more effectively to target the objectives to be reached and pass to the functional analysis of the product or the process.
Definition of the objective
